approachable, frank, sincere, and accommodative person. Indeed, RMSS is very fortunate to have such great teacher.
According to Ithiel, “Ms Ong is firm during lessons but most students in the class knows that she is a very approachable and patient teacher. Her class was never once boring, she seemed to be able to make the lessons fun and interesting in whatever topics she is teaching. I think this why I always feel very confident about getting good grades for Science and Math assessment. I remembered during phase one Circuit Breaker period, I really missed not being able to attend her class physically because learning through zoom is not as interesting as learning in her class.
She especially pays attention to weaker students who need more help.
My daughter, Ong Kai Hui, was one of the weak students under her guidance.
Hence, Ms Rachael would pay closer attention to her by consistently asking if she had any doubts to clarify. She would also give her 1 on 1 lessons to further explain concepts.
Although, it required strenuous efforts to teach her, she did not give up.
Although I newly joined your class this year, my English grades have significantly improved and I am more confident in it. Your detailed teaching and fun lessons make me wish you taught me in school too haha! You are a very nice, relatable and funny teacher which I really like. Thank you for your patient guidance and always answering whatever questions I have. I will try my best in Os to get A for English and make you happy and proud!
We are also very happy with the centre in providing the resources and ability to navigate the covid crisis without any disruption to the learing journey...Kudos to RMSS...
I am indeed grateful for him and lucky to him as his tutor. Thank you Mr Benjamin for his patience."
After joining Mr Tham’s class this year (in Sec 4), I can now do Science papers with ease, and is able to understand Science concepts better. I am now scoring B3s and is just a step away from getting that A!
Joining the class a year later than others, I first expected myself not being to adapt well in class. Instead, I found myself being able to enjoy lessons due to Mr Tham’s cheerful and easy-going nature, that made classes really lively and enjoyable.
Mr Tham’s way of teaching really sparked my interest in learning Science, as he uses a variety of teaching methods to make my learning experience a better one. I have now developed an interest in Science, and is more confident in scoring well for my O levels, from Mr Tham’s constant guidance.
Thank you Mr Tham!
Mr Tham also stays back after class to answer our extra questions and have also provided us with words of encouragement, hence I am really grateful to have him as my teacher.
Thank you, Mr Tham!
Mr Tham is readily available to help any students he can and never turns down the opportunity to provide an answer to any of our queries. His fun personality perks up the whole class when times get tough and it is truly a joy to see a teacher having an amazing time teaching and educating students so that they could pursue their goals and dreams in the future.
That said, I have truly enjoyed the time spent in RMSS with Mr Tham and appreciate his effort in helping me get good grades in Science. My results have improved from B4 to A1. I am deciding on taking a Science related course in polytechnic and personally have to admit that much credit should go to Mr Tham for taking his time to answer my endless questions so that I could easily understand. The times spent struggling in my Sciences have really paid off and has forged me into an individual who shows genuine interest in the art of science.
Now that it has come to the last stretch before the O level examinations, I have to admit that things can get pretty nerve-wrecking at times. However, I believe in my abilities to score well for my Sciences after having been taught under Mr Tham for many months now. I am grateful for everything he has done for me in my preparation before the examinations and I could rest easy knowing that I could always rely on Mr Tham during difficult times.
Thank you Mr Tham for teaching me for the past 2 years!
